Critiques and Other Opportunities
What People Are Saying
Anne offered feedback in such a positive, supporting, and constructive way. Their detailed comments helped me identify that "off thing" I couldn't put my finger on. Not only did they help me find a solution for my manuscript, they provided validation by identifying my manuscript's strengths. To top it all off, they evaluated my portfolio in a way that gave me a sense of direction and confidence at the same time. I highly recommend a critique by Anne!
I was stuck on a manuscript and dummy that I very much loved but was worried might have reached a permanent dead end. Anne's insight, questions, and idea generating prompts helped me bust through my block. They are thorough, thoughtful, and I will most definitely be hiring them for future critiques.
Anne is an amazing editor who always finds a way to make a manuscript sing. Anne has a keen eye for spotting opportunities to let writers leave breathing room for illustrations. The end result is balanced and vibrant!

Rachel Michelle Wilson
Author-illustrator
Anne has a way of seeing exactly what my manuscript needs to make it shine and communicates it in a way that's both clear and kind. Their insight, particularly their ability to see things from an illustrator's point of view, is invaluable!
Rachel Rizzuto
Author-illustrator
I don't consider a manuscript fully revised until Anne has given their feedback—because their insights are so helpful in showing me problem areas, and their questions help me see my story in a new way that I hadn't considered. Their feedback helps me make my writing more focused and proactive!
Jess Hernandez
Author of FIRST DAY OF UNICORN SCHOOL
I’d let Anne write my books, if I could. If you have an opportunity for them to lend an editorial eye, you should seize it!

I can always count on Anne to (gently) call me out when I'm being lazy or careless! My manuscripts always shine after they get a hold of them.
